When you dont need to tell a three year old about pets popping their clogs. Robyn went to the Fish Vet (Dobbies) today to collect Nemo who was there getting his fin fixed. Not only did we pick up Nemo, but he's now got a new mate called....wait for it....Marlon.

We also have a new tank with a lid to stop a repeat performance. If this pair want to end it all, they can bash their brains in trying to get out.

Just been watching: The Simpsons Movie - few funny bits, but Spider Pig lost impact after seeing it ten millon times before.

Somewhere Beyond The Sea....

Our cat Rusty has had a keen interest in Robyn's wee fish Nemo (unusual name eh?) since we got him a few months back. He has sat and watched him, chased him round the bowl and even stuck his head in for a drink a few times. Our other cat Floyd cant be arsed with him.

Robyn has been good at stopping Rusty from getting too close just in case he fancies a bit of lunch and we close the door each night to stop him staging a midnight raid.

So imagine our surprise when we came down the stairs this morning to see Nemo lying on the floor. Dried out and pan breed. Both cats have alibis - unless they can open and close doors - so the only explanation is that Nemo lept out the bowl and commited fish hari-kari.

Robyn doesnt yet know that Nemo has took a ride on the Porcelain Express. I went to Dobbie's this morning to get a replacement fish but they are currently in quarantine until lunchtime!!!
Now trying to decide between telling her or buying new fish. She has her nursery nativity play today - an angel btw - so I dont want to spoil her big day.....

They do all look the same so I should be alright eh?
